Event Background

At Rossborough, we are passionate about encouraging people to take a proactive approach to their health.

The importance of regular personal health checks and the early detection of medical conditions is something that cannot be underestimated.

Health checks allow individuals to gain a detailed picture of their overall health and give the opportunity for early detection and treatment plans / lifestyle changes for any potential health problems that may be identified. Detecting a problem early can of course improve your chances of recovery.

This will be the fifth health check event we have run since the first Rossborough Healthcare Free Health Check event back in 2014, and we are delighted that we are able to continue to offer members of the Jersey public access to some crucial health tests together with some innovative screening technology and this year, a new Virtual Reality stress testing experience. 

We have once again decided to partner with local organisations, charities and health professionals to focus on some of the key health issues that continue to affect the world and in particular, the Jersey community – heart conditions and diabetes.

The event will be a chance for people to have the appropriate tests and discuss results with an experienced, qualified medical professional. There will also be the chance to talk with the associated charities / organisations that will be there to offer advice and support in any way they can.
